Rokkaku 六角

Rokkaku is a Japanese restaurant on Kwong Ming Street (off Star Street) in Wanchai, right by the Kwong Ming Street Children’s Playground. The unassuming, wooden slide door opens into a small and boxy dinning room with 2 sushi chefs working behind the sushi counter and 2 wait staffs.

The apparently Japanese-speaking waitress did not understand our Japanese questions, nor seemed to be knowledgeable in the menu and the chefs were non-Japanese. Despite the initial doubts and a few sandy clams, the meal was fresh and thoroughly delicious.
