Saboten
RECOMMENDED: I am a former HK resident and I hit this place up on every visit. It's located in the basement. It's about a 2 min walk from the MTR station exit.
This is classic Japanese pork cutlet with the majority of the ingredients flown in from Japan. It's not cheap (I spent HK$200 for a lunch by myself which is very expensive by HK standard). However, it's done in a real Japanese style.
I'd suggest you simply get the fried pork cutlet set lunch offering. It comes with side pickles and wonderful wispy thin shred of cabbage which you anoint with a lovely creamy sauce. You also get roasted sesame seeds which you can bash up and mix with another dipping sauce.
The restaurant itself is quite nice and bright and well hidden from the bustle of Causeway Bay. Note: If you miss this, there is a location at the airport (of all places) slightly different but also quite good.
