Best described as the culmination of Singapore’s cuisine, the (aptly named) Straits Kitchen serves up local favourites like Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, otak otak, wok-fried black pepper or chilli crab, and a selection of satays.
There's plenty of action going on at the live stations with chefs frying up char kway teow, flipping roti pratas, and pulling up frothy teh tariks a la minute. Indian cuisine is well-represented in this spread with more than a few items available from the tandoor oven. For dessert, indulge in the assortment of nyonya kueh, kueh lapis, banana fritters and homemade durian ice cream.
