Kim Place’s founder Mr.Tan Kue Kim has been a legendary ‘Fried Hokkien Mee Master’ since 1965, satisfying huge amounts of local hokkien mee fans for decades.
While his son Mr. Yong Tan has carried on the rich legacy of his dad, he has also instilled modern day management practices and modernised the operations. He has also evolved the menu with unique dishes, such as the hugely popular 'XO Extra Hokkien Mee’. Kim's other signature dishes include their ‘Cheese crabs’, just one of the Chinese dishes that are cooked with western ingredients.
