Yue Chinese Restaurant Gold Coast Hotel
Yue has been my family's event venue regularly. We have been coming to here for festive and birthday celebrations for years. The restaurant management team is quite stable which helps a lot in understanding our family needs. This time we came for Mid-autumn Festival celebration. Roasted suckling pig is one of our must-eat items. High quality food except the thick-skinned steam dumpling (I would rather have the thin-skinned ones). The cold served abalone with Thai sweet and sour sauce was nice on a typhoon-hot evening. The fig and chicken stewed in clay pot was special but a bit salty. Need to remind the chef to make it lighter. Desserts are fantastic particularly the sago in coconut milk with taro. Fruits were festive selected and well arranged. Everything was of a four-star hotel standard and most importantly, delicious!
