If mischief ever needed a restaurant poster child, Fat Lulu’s, an Asian grill and dessert bar, would get our nomination.

The restaurant isn’t afraid to wear its crazy heart on its sleeves, and yet manages to steer clear of “quirky hipster cafe” cliches.

Fat Lulu’s offers an assortment of meats like Spicy BBQ Full Rack Pork Ribs ($28), Herb Crusted Lamb Rack ($27) and Grilled Mangalicia Pork Collar ($24). Meat can oftentimes be destroyed on top of a grill, but many of the meats here were moist and flavourful, while boasting a smoky aroma.
