Mary's Kafe

The owner of Mary's Kafe, Mary Gomes is the author of two excellent cookbooks, one on Eurasian food and the other on Singaporean fare. Mary's Kafe is open from Monday to Friday (except Sat, Sun & Public Holidays) and for lunch only. The set lunch, only $7, consists of a main item, such as chicken assam or beef rendang, a drink and dessert. Mary also provides a wide range of pastry items to take-away including her bestselling Sugee cake. Besides continental cakes, like Banana, Chocolate, Fruit Butter and Marble, she also makes good nonya cakes like, Apom Berkuah - pancake served with banana sauce, Rempah Udang, Coconut Candies which are some of the dying items. You may order the food available from the cafe by giving her 2 days advance notice.
