Seino mamasan is widely known in Singapore. She has more than 30 years experience working in Japanese traditional Izakaya restaurant in Singapore previously located at Orchard Hotel Grand Central. In her earlier days in Hokkaido Japan, she was in charge of cooking in Hokkaido's hospital serving healthy Japanese meals to the visitors and hospital patients before she came to Singapore.

Every customer calls her mama san. (The madam of the restaurant). Her customers love to talk with her while they enjoy their food and drinks.

Her attention to details are a top priority as she daily tastes and checks all the food in the kitchen. The Chef and her will have early meetings to plan the menu for the evening.
