Sodam Chicken
Korean Fried Chicken has been conquering a big part of Hong Kong-Korean cuisine since the popularization of a K-drama. The variety goes on from chili spiced, sweet and sour glazed and double cheese chicken, it is now reaching far down to a healthy baked one at Sodam Chicken.
With more than 70 branches in Korea, Sodam Chicken is set to locate its Hong Kong debut in the heart of Causeway Bay Bartlock Commercial Building.
It is a casual diner that serves up a range of deep fried or baked chicken, some Korean dishes such as rice cake and cold noodles, along with the perfect pairing of Korean soju and beer.
We love the baked chicken that is cooked just right with tendered and juicy meat, served in a basket alongside a delicious eggy mayonnaise dip.
The fried chicken is also a highlight which is crunchy, packed with full flavor of a pungent and sweet honey mustard glaze, absolutely scrumptious.
The carbonara rice cake is somehow disappointing despite it is quite rich and chewy, we wish for a thicker consistency on the sauce.
A great accompany to our fried chicken meal would be some drink specials including the upside-down apple cider rita and chrysanthemum tea soda.
