Homegrown Foods was founded in 2010 by Todd Darling, as an e-commerce company that bought fresh organic vegetables from local farmers and sold them to local consumers.

Since then it has expanded into new products that it sources from organic farms all over the world for Hong Kong consumers. As of 2014 has taken over management of IHM, a company that managed Posto Pubblico, Linguini Fini, and Stone Nullah Tavern.
