Tsukiji Gindaco

In 1989 Morio SASE started HotLand with the strong will to create a chain that would globally promote Japanese food culture. The first shop started with fried Yakisoba noodles and riceballs. In September 2013 the Croissant Taiyaki was launched and quickly became a hit product.

The brand is mainly distributed in the Kanto area around Shinjuku in Tokyo as well as Yokohama. Special ceramic equipment is used to achieve a unique texture inside and outside the Taiyaki cake. Croissant Taiyaki is very popular amongst people of all ages who take great pleasure in enjoying the 21st century version of traditional Japanese Taiyaki.
