Taisho-ken Maruichi (大勝軒丸一)

Eiichi TANAKA, the apprentice of Tsukemen (dipping noodles) pioneer Kazuo YAMAGISHI , established Taisho-ken Maruichi with a vision to promote authentic Japanese Tsukemen to the world. Executive Chef Eiichi TANAKA set up his first overseas Taisho-ken in 2016 at Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong, followed by the second one at Whampoa Garden opened in August 2016, whereas most of his local branches station in Tokyo, Japan. At Taisho-ken Hong Kong, quality of the dishes are of vital importance, soup bases, noodles and ingredients are imported directly from Japan to preserve the essence of the traditional Japanese fare.
