The Parlour

The Parlour is a glamorous and grand chinoiserie lounge that is the perfect place to entertain visitors or simply to indulge oneself. The day starts with English breakfast, followed by luncheon and afternoon tea. In the evenings, romantic dinner and exotic cocktails are the order of the day.
Cuisine The Parlour offers one of Hong Kong’s most refined locations for indulging in enticing cocktails or enjoying an elegant selection of all-day dining. Expertly-mixed Hong Kong-inspired cocktails include the signature Dragon’s Back and Hulletini. Dining options range from classic breakfast selections, internationally-inspired cuisine served for lunch and dinner, traditional English afternoon tea, to an à la carte menu available throughout the day. For those seeking a quick bite, The Parlour also offers a selection of gourmet sandwiches, smoothies, and vegetarian options.
Design The Parlour has three distinctive rooms, where East and West meet with a colourful explosion. The walls of the East Room are decorated with beautiful hand-painted canvases depicting Victoria Harbour at the turn of the 19th century, when sea-going vessels plied their trade, much as they do today. At the opposite end of The Parlour in the West Room, Brighton’s historic Royal Pavilion is depicted – a stunning example of early 19th century architecture, reflecting King George IV of England’s passion for all things chinoiserie. In the middle room is the striking Dragon Bar where dramatic dragons clutch elaborate Chinese “shadow” lanterns, swooping and diving against a dramatic pink sunset sky above the heads of those drinking at its long, double-fronted bar.
