Zaks Restaurant

30 of us were attending a wedding and our host had arranged a meal at Zaks in Discovery Bay. We had prechosen our meal and the first course was served efficiently and pleasantly. I had chosen tandoori chicken kebabs. Was this a starter??? It would have done as a main meal there were about 6 kebabs. It was delicious but I had to leave it to make way for the main course - Parmesan crusted lamb cutlets. Once again the staff were efficient and knew who had ordered what so just asked our names. Wow....the presentation of this dish was great and the way it was cooked was so tasty. Again I couldn't finish all five cutlets that I had been served. The staff ensured our glasses were always full whether with wine or soft drinks. We then had a bit of a break until desert. The choice had been pavlova or ice cream. Not being a fan of ice cream, I chose pavlova. I couldn't believe my eyes when it was served. It must have been a quarter of a normal sized full pavlova but full of fresh fruit. It was extremely yummy. All in all the service and the food are highly recommended. Make sure to visit if you are in the area. Although it was dark, I should imagine daytime views here are great as it overlooks the sea
