La Rotisserie
La Rotisserie
the first ever-traditional French rotisserie take away.
La Rotisserie: Hong Kong’s first ever traditional French rotisserie takeaway.
We get to the heart of French country cuisine by importing our ingredients, including Grade A corn fed chickens, directly from France. We offer healthy, nutritious food for people on-the-go.
At La Rotisserie we use an authentic chicken-roasting machine which slowly cooks the skewered meat on a turning spit. Following tradition, our potatoes are cooked in the chicken fat below.
Rotisserie-style cooking is hugely popular in France and is part of the nation’s culinary tradition. Growing up, it was common for mum to buy a rotisserie-roasted chicken for the family. At home, dad would carve it, and the family would enjoy the meal together. We aim to replicate this experience here, bringing a touch of French family life to Hong Kong.
Rotisseries are a common sight on the streets of all French cities, including Paris. The roasting birds release an aroma that drifts out of the restaurant, and a quick glimpse of the crisply browned skin often tempts passersby into making a purchase. Hidden underneath the chickens are the potatoes, roasting in a pan below. The potatoes absorb the chicken fat which slowly drips onto them. This isn’t fast food – each part of the roasting process is necessary to produce our unique taste.
We have put together an extended range of side dishes that we change daily. These include roasted potatoes, French beans, mashed potato and ratatouille. We also serve soups and delicious homemade quiche. If there is still room for more you can pick up one of our amazing desserts – our chocolate cake is world famous! And don’t forget our range of fine French wines, selected by us to match your food.
“Bon appétit!”
