Fairwood believes that customers and people should always come first. We listen to customers' needs and closely follow dining trends to provide innovative products, while continuously enhancing the quality of our food and keeping prices attractive. To enhance brand image and competitiveness, Fairwood invested HK$15 million in a comprehensive brand revamp in November 2003. The company's logo, store operations, product menu, and store interiors were all completely redesigned. The new brand logo, designed by famed designer Alan Chan, features a "jumping man", capturing the youthful and joyful energy embodied by the revamp. The Group also enlisted two internationally renowned interior designers, Steve Leung and Yasumichi Morita, to redesign Fairwood's stores, which have been renovated every three years ever since.
Fairwood was the first Hong Kong fast food restaurant to hire professional songwriters to prepare background music for our stores. The Group was also the first fast food operator in Hong Kong to enact a "smoke-free" policy in all of our outlets, setting a new standard for the fast food industry in Hong Kong as a whole.
With a customer-oriented focus, Fairwood continues to develop new products and strives for consistent quality through stringent ingredient selection. Our signature "Ah Wood" curry recipe includes more than 30 different spices, with a complex flavour that is unique to the marketplace. Other signature dishes include our Spaghetti Bolognaise, featuring extra virgin olive oil, fresh tomatoes and "Al Dente" spaghetti, as well as our Baked Pork Chop and our Sweet Corn and Diced Pork. Fairwood also continues to innovate product lines such as the "No MSG" series, the "Thick-Cut Black Pork Cutlet" series, and Japanese Ramens, serving the constantly evolving dining preferences of our customers.
Fairwood is a pioneer in offering "personalised service", where customers are able to enjoy delivery of their food to their tables. The Group also runs all of its outlets in a "Barrier-free" manner by installing movable seats and ramps, and provides services such as personal meal ordering for customers with special needs.
Adhering to our value of being "people-oriented", the Group continually hires high-calibre talent while cultivating a culture of care among existing employees. Through various staff benefits such as the Children's Education Fund, we aim to build a happy team, which will translate into happy dining experiences and happy customers.
Social responsibility has been one of Fairwood's major corporate focuses. The "Fairwood $4 Meal Campaign" was one such endeavour, aiming to benefit the underprivileged. Other activities, such as the Fairwood Happy Day and the Christmas Charity Party, were organised to facilitate interaction between our staff and members of the community, promoting mutual support and social integration, and delivering our brand vision of "Enjoy Great Food. Live a Great Life".
