JC Group is expanding with a new izakaya brand, Mekiki no Ginji. The new brand hails directly from Okinawa Japan is a rapidly growing dining establishment that boasts traditional Japanese dishes with a modern touch and a relaxing ambience full of vibe.

Mekiki no Ginji has been growing since the flagship shop opened in Okinawa 8 years ago. The brand now owns more than 10 shops in Okinawa Japan and Hong Kong will be their first overseas attempt.

Mekiki no Ginji, oozing abundance of izakaya traditions, sets itself apart from others with an encompassing menu that includes each Japanese prefecture’s signature dish. The dishes are innovative while paying tribute to regional cooking method with local ingredients. Each dish in the menu represents the prefecture’s unique food culture and the menu is splendid with more than 60 options including appetizers, salads, grills, rice, noodles, shabu-shabu, sushi & sashimi and desserts.

The setting in Ginji sets a modern and convivial tone with clean furnishings. Inviting you to the restaurant is a line of big wooden barrel that boasts a sharp Japanese sense and a gigantic U-shape wooden table that showcases a colorful array of ingredients. The restaurant also makes use of live tempura, robatayaki, and sushi stations that invite you to the exciting dining scene.
