Fung Shing Restaurant (鳳城酒家)

Fung Shing Restaurant has a very Chinese atmosphere to it. The designs of a dragon and phoenix are on the first wall you see when you enter the building. If you are interested in Cantonese cuisine, you're in luck because this restaurant would be one of the best ones to choose from.

Like many other Hong Kong restaurants, this restaurant serves dim sums for breakfast and lunch hour, before 3pm. So if you are looking for nice and authentic dim sums, come and try theirs, they are really delicious.

For dinner, it would be ideal to order their "Deep Fried Dumplings with Soup" ($30/half dozen, $60/a dozen) as a starter, and then try their "Roasted Chicken" ($100/half, $200/whole) after. Their "Fried Milk" ($78) is also very nice. You can also order "Fried Milk with Prawn Toast" ($178) If you are unsure what to order as a side thereafter, don't be afraid to ask a server. They are all very friendly and would give you very helpful recommendations. If you need it, a server would be more than happy to offer you an English menu.

The dessert in this restaurant is very succulent and tasty. For example, you can try their "Baked Custard and Sago Pudding" ($60/small). Even if you are not a fan of sweets, they are worth trying at least once.

However, it is best to make a reservation before you go, especially on the weekend, because this restaurant is very popular and can get quite busy.
