“NOM is the distillation of more than a decade of experience, sacrifice, sweat, hard work, passion, tears, drunken nights, love, research, trips, reading and advice from mentors. When we were thinking about a new food and beverage concept for Hong Kong, we didn’t want to create just ‘another Italian restaurant’. We realised that what people want is comfort food in a friendly place. We arrived to our idea of NOM: a meatball bar that’s cheap and cheerful, combined with a restaurant that’s modern and sophisticated”, says Chef Fabrizio, who is also a partner in the business.

Adds Ricky Cheuk, NOM’s owner and an entrepreneur, “NOM will help people in Hong Kong understand that something simple as meatballs can also be refined and really enjoyable. Our customers will be able to taste great Italian food without spending a fortune”.
