Ci Yan Organic Vegetarian Health Food
We read about this restaurant in the official guide to Chinatown published by the Singapore Tourism Board, and we were lucky enough to find it on a recent visit to Chinatown. It's a small restaurant run by a husband and wife that serves a set menu of organic, vegetarian Chinese food. The menu changes each day, and during our lunch there were 3 choices: a vegetarian wrap, brown rice set, or a delicious tofu/noodle dish. The owner was very welcoming, spoke English, and suggested a meal for us since it was our first visit. The prices were very reasonable, and it had a nice, quiet atmosphere with pictures of the Dalai Lama and Buddhist statues on the walls. The restaurant has already been reviewed on Hungry Go Where, a food review site for Singapore: http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/ci_yan_organic_vegetarian_health_food/
