A subsidiary of the award-winning Four Seas Group, Shiki Etsu Japanese Restaurant is a seasoned fine dining establishment, backed by 30 years of history. Adhering closely to the minimalism of Japanese design, the restaurant embraces open spaces with infusions of sunlight from wide windows during the day while being illuminated with the soft amber glow of overhead lamps during the evening. Set against the beige tones of the restaurant, dishes provide pops of colour with ebony boxes of compartmentalised bento sets, steaming bowls of udon noodles swimming in rich broths, and platters of fresh sashimi and sushi holding coral shrimps, purplish-pink slices of tuna belly, and bright orange splashes of salmon set upon a mound of silvery shaved ice. Patrons with large groups may choose to bypass the general seating area and sushi counter, instead head to the private zashiki-style dining room, where tatami mats are topped with low tables and cushions for a traditional dining experience.
