The Phoenix

Lang Kwai Fong has gotten cheesy unfortunately. But don't despair because up one flight from the LKF pit, just off Wyndham St, is the escalator to SoHo which is filled with great bars/restaurants w/o yobs throwing up in the streets. Up that escalator, up up up, sits The Phoenix, a neighborhood spot filled with upmarket locals/expats, the occasional Canto Pop star and a great, great staff. Good wine, good food, a convivial atmosphere, a super place. They helped me by making my vegetable curry into a chicken curry without missing a beat. Great spot highly recommended!
