Bochinche

Leaving behind their sleepy Martin Road digs, trendy Argentinian restaurant Bochinche is now at Amoy Street. The new 45-seater space maybe smaller than what is was at Robertson Quay, and the Argentinian market has been done away with, but there is a lot to look forward to from the new Bochinche.

The menu favourite, Baked Provoleta cheese studded with almonds and drizzled with honey remains. As do the empanadas, but the recipe has been improved. There will also be a new custom-made, made-in-Spain, wooden charcoal grill designed by chef patron Diego Jacquet that will allow the chefs to have better control of the heat in order to bring out the best flavours of the Argentinian grass-fed meat that they serve (and import) exclusively.

Tipples will include a carefully curated list of Argentine wine. Will the prices remain the same? Watch this space and we will spill the beans when we know more.
